Basic Information
The calendar year is divided into six sessions: Winter, Early Spring, Late Spring, Summer, Fall and Holiday. Sessions are an average of eight weeks in length. Sessions with holidays or longer calendar months may result in a seven or nine week adjustment for certain days within each session.
It is not necessary to wait until the beginning of a new session to enroll in lessons. The tuition for mid-session enrollment will be prorated according to the number of remaining lessons in the session. There are no breaks between sessions. Students are encouraged to advance into each new session without interruption for optimum progress. 2010 session dates can be viewed here.
Renewals
The spot you are occupying will be yours for as long as you continue to renew it. Renewal notices and confirmations will be sent via email four weeks prior to each new session. The emails will be complete with session dates, times, fees and deadlines. If you have not enrolled in a house account (see Cost and Payment Options) renewal is not automatic and you will need to remember to renew by the deadlines listed in order to reserve your spot.
The deadline for renewing for the next session is always the second to last Saturday of the current session. Session dates, tuition due dates and house account processing dates can be referenced on our online calendar. The online calendar can be accessed by clicking on the icon listed at the bottom of each page on our website or by clicking on the calendar link at the top of each page.
