Brad Dickert

Percussion, Piano

I started playing drums around 10 years old. My father and grandfather were both drummers. I was involved in school ensembles and my own bands all through high school.

I attended Harper college for a brief time where I studied piano, and orchestral percussion, earning my associates in music.

I then moved on to Columbia College Chicago, where I studied Jazz. While there, I performed with the CCC big band, eventually doing a short tour to Vincenza Italy. I earned my BA in jazz studies in 2004.

Since then, I have been doing a lot of freelance performing, touring, recording, and teaching. I also have my own recording studio in Chicago called Boom Squared Studios.
