Since 1994, The Music Room has been a hub for music products, instruction, resources, activities and opportunities for the members of our community.   Our mission is to provide the means for our customers to experience personal growth through music and the performing arts. 

Located on the corner of Slade and Brockway Streets in historic downtown Palatine, The Music Room finds its home in a beautiful 10,000 square foot building consisting of three levels.  

Our extensive product lines have been carefully chosen to serve the needs of musicians at every level of experience, from students to professionals.  We serve young band and orchestra students in our community by providing a quality instrument rental program.

We have an in house repair workshop where our highly skilled technicians can restore your instrument to its pristine condition.  

We are the premier destination in the northwest suburbs for quality musical instruction in both private and group class settings.  We have ten state of the art soundproof studios for private instruction and 4000 square feet on our lower level for group classes and recitals.  We employ the finest staff in the Chicagoland area.
