Wally Parchomenko

Wally graduated from Sherwood Music Conservatory in June 1968 in Chicago, IL. He earned his bachelors in Music Education and clarinet performance as a minor. During his four years at the conservatory, he studied clarinet with Mr. Stanley Davis of Lyric Opera Co. of Chicago. He has advanced musical training at the US Naval School of Music in Washington D.C. He was involved in the 5th US Army Band at Ft. Sheridan, IL and the 8th US Army Band in Seoul, Korea.
Wally has been teaching privately for over 35 years with many of the fine local music schools in the Chicagoland area. His musical background includes classical training as well as jazz, big band and pop music in most woodwind instruments. His teaching philosophy promotes musical discipline, which leads to personal growth, enjoyment and success for all students.
